Manual gold panning and mercury amalgamation:
Gravity separation concentrates are routinely upgraded by the hand panning technique, free gold within these concentrates are easily recovered via amalgamation with liquid mercury. After the free gold is dissolved in the Mercury the Mercury is recovered and sent for analysis. This technique is invaluable in quantifying free gold and is a key plank in the assessment of adding gravity separation circuits to the processing stream.
Heavy Liquid Separation:
Metallurgy incorporates Metatungstate HLS techniques in heavy liquid separation. We offer a full range of separation up to SG 3.5 in single point and multipoint tests.
